liveIreland is pleased to announce that our stereo feeds for mobile devices are now in beta and on test throughout the site. Using the latest AAC+ codec by Orban technologies liveIreland is now available to listeners on a variety of different *mobile and *stationary platforms in crystal clear FM quality stereo. We have just tested this feed in a WiFi coffee shop using the HP iPAQ hw6900 Mobile Messenger (right). Sounds brilliant at 32kbps so even if your using low bit rates via GSM you still get the same brilliant sound quality. We are very excited about this feed and we hope to roll out more HQ liveIreland feeds in the coming weeks. Feedback is more than welcome on the contacts page. Thanks!
