First Trams Cross Dublin City Centre In 70 Years

Dublin’s Luas service crossed the city centre today joining up the two north and south rails works after a long and protracted contract that took the best part of 4 years. The old Dublin tram network followed the same paths until it was ripped out in favour of diesel buses in the 1950s. Back to the future as we say. Video and pic via Karl Black.
