First heatwave in forty years unveils ancient Ireland.

Ireland has had one of the driest and hottest summers since 1976 and as a result Drone and history enthusiast, Anthony Murphy of Mythical Ireland has uncovered the outline of a new henge discovery near the ancient site of Newgrange in Ireland’s Boyne Valley. As with recent drone discoveries in the UK, the hot weather has dried out surface grasses and crops in different shades depending on the substrate rock or sediment beneath them.  This has the effect of amplifying whats beneath the surface as the fauna dries out more slowly above rock formations than those with none. The end result is a sharp outline of ancient henges over 3000 years old.
