I BELIEVE™, Dublin’s Christmas Tree and Village, kicked off with a tree lighting ceremony last Thursday November, 26th.
It’s Ireland first winter food, drink, craft and horticulture festival.
Liveireland decided to visit this weekend for a much needed winter boost – and we loved it.
A 50ft tall Christmas Tree donated by Coilte and grown in County Wicklow is located in the waters of Georges Dock. The Tree seems to be placed so that it can be seen from all areas in the village and it is stunning.
It is beautifully lit and reflects into the water at Georges Dock.
It is a sight to behold.
The area has been transformed into a Christmas wonderland, with traders on the pontoon located in decorated fairy like chalet tents.
Within moments of entering the Village from the Liffey we wandered past a beautiful Victorian carousel, craft food and beer, and we were instantly in the Christmas spirit.
The lighting, aroma of good food, and the atmosphere really make this a must visit. We will be making one of many return visits soon.
