Dallahan Bigger By The Day

Want to hear tomorrow in Celtic music? The hot, hot Scottish-based group, Dallahan,  is currently recording their new album after a full summer of touring, highlighted by blockbuster appearances at major events such as the biggest of all, IrishFest in Milwaukee. It was their second year in a row at the Fest, and the word had spread. Big, enthusiastic crowds were on hand, loving every minute of it all. Described by one article as, “Lunasa for the next generation”, that seems to about sum up what is on offer here. Trad at their base, Dallahan is another young act adapting their music for a new take on the tradition. Stunning! (l-r) Balazs Hermann (bass), Ciaran Ryan (mandolin, banjo, fiddle), Jack Badcock (guitar, vocals), Paddy Callaghan (button box) and Jani Lang, fiddle.
